Fisher Avenue Pump Station Rehabilitation

This pump station project for the City of Milford involved a complete rehabilitation of the entire existing station while adding new processes to make the new station more efficient.  Specifically, M2 Construction installed all new pumps and controls, rehabilitated and lined the existing wetwell, installed a new manhole for access, installed a new odor control process, added HVAC, replaced the emergency generator and revised the process to be more effective.  The challenge on this project was that the entire flow of the pump station needed to be bypass pumped around the pumpstation for the duration of construction. The challenge involved tight coordination with the owner, engineer and all vendors to make sure the pump station was only out of service for the time necessary to complete construction.  The pump station was put back online with all new mechanical equipment in July 2017.
