Annapolis Maryland Dam

The scope of work on this project included rehabilitating the dam at the City of Annapolis park through demolition and a “facelist” of adding a new surface. Special care on this project was taken in order to avoid structural issues with the existing dam. M2 had to coordinate demolition  activities and installation of a new Shotcrete and then Gunite surface. M2 self performed the demolition and installation of an existing concrete channel in order to help accelerate the subcontractor schedule and meet the owner’s tight requested timeframe.

Lykens Borough Dam

The borough of Lykens was having storm water overflow issues with the water reservoir dam. M2 rehabilitated the existing concrete at the exiting dam through demolition and pouring new concrete. The scope also included installation of an ACF environmental engineered block system to help direct overflow water and avoid washouts. M2 also installed rip rap along with creek with grout to keep it in place.  The scope included minor piping removal and replacement as well as associated site work and grading. Special care was taken to work around the creek and reservoir.
